Throughout his childhood, Christopher Crow’s relentlessly optimistic mother told him colorful stories about an imaginary island called Pangea. When she passes away unexpectedly, Christopher - now in his twenties - decides that the only way to make sense of everything is to travel to Pangea himself…if he can remember the way.
King of Pangea is a deeply moving and enchanting new musical. Inspired by the author’s experience, King of Pangea combines memoir and magical realism as it travels the rich complicated road from grief to healing, and examines what it means to reclaim hope in the face of life-altering loss.
